If you are planning to move in—PLEASE DON’T. I’ve lived in this complex for a long time and have seen several management changes, but this is by far the worst management I have ever experienced. Despite repeated complaints, nothing gets fixed and conditions continue to decline. Below are just some of the serious issues you will encounter: 1. Trash Everywhere – Dumpsters are always overflowing and trash is scattered around the entire property. During the summer, the odor is so strong it’s nauseating to walk past the dumpsters. 2. Office Closed & Unresponsive – The leasing office is almost never open. They only accept appointments, but you can’t actually schedule one. Phone calls go to voicemail and emails take forever to receive a response—if you get one at all. 3. Maintenance Disaster –

The biggest problem i have with this place is communication. It's like no one talks to each other. Ill give credit that this new management is definitely fixing things but they're slowly going to raise the rent on everything. I already saw it done with the laundry room.

Please do not hold the terrible reviews against the new property management! The previous owners, skylark place, were shady and they destroyed the reputation here. Renew Carmichael is back and they are amazing! I was a resident here for 7 years and Renew Carmichael has always been professional, clean, and more than helpful. Brittany, the manager, is incredibly nice and has done a lot to right the wrongs that Skylark has ruined. They’ve redone the property, have reasonable pricing, and the apartments themselves are very clean. Don’t disregard this complex due to bad reviews from skylark!

Since Renew has returned, this complex has been revived! They took a neglected property and immediately started working on returning it to an acceptable and enjoyable community. It's a work in progress and many changes have taken place since getting rid of that terrible manager. The team in the office are professional and friendly! We feel like we matter, again! Saairah was the worst manager this place has ever had! We are so happy she and Skylark Place is gone!
