Wow, where do I start? Lol I would've never thought in a million years I would be building my dream home, especially after the war stories I've heard through the years. Red Door has given me hope and made a true believer out of me that it could be done with minimum stress and worries. Up to this point, there's been nothing but smooth sailing and excitement. They've been very detailed, transparent, while keeping me informed on every level. The staff is phenomenal, very friendly, professional, and family orientated, and let me give a special shout out to Calli for holding my hand throughout this process. ***4 years to the day that we did our final walk through and they never finished our punch list Update: We’ve now been our house for a year and our punch list has yet to be halfway finished. And no one from the company will respond to our calls or texts. Y’all stay far away from this company. I promise I’m saving you a headache. Our experience with Red Door Homes has been terrible. We contracted with them in June 2020 while the price of new construction was still down. Due to things outside of our control, our house wasn’t started on until December 2020 when all the prices had increased. And boy did we feel that. Red door homes was exceptional in our building process. Callie and Alex were so attentive and was with us every step of the way to the completion and final walk-thru.

STAY AWAY, SAVE MONEY AND THE HEADACHE!!! Tried to slip things by us the entire time they were building our house, Never finished our final grade, Said they would multiple times, but never did. Still have a punch list a mile long it’s been over two months, and the first contractor they sent out fixed 1 of the multiple things he was their to do, took him about 5 minutes. Then when I asked about the other couple of things. Very easy fixes btw. He said his boss told him that’s all he was supposed to do. Implying that “Red door” had told them only to fix that one thing and nothing else. They have went back on Things they have signed off on, they have immediately put us on the back burner the very second we closed. They have ignored us, if you build a home with red door, or Murphy homes

It was an amazingly positive experience working with Red Door Homes Alabama. They made the selection process easy and smooth. They were wonderful to work with the entire time. They got done what needed to be done. The quality of the material and work is exceptional. They were very flexible in working with us, and we were able to build the home as we wanted. They took care of our concerns quickly. And the building process went a lot quicker than we anticipated. If I ever build a home again they would be the first ones that I would reach out to.
