This company is aggressively pursuing a development on the Mississippi dunes in Cottage Grove. The site is ecologically significant and this developer will be cutting down hundreds of trees. This natural area is not appropriate for yet another cookie-cutter housing development to be crammed in. A group of citizens who actually care about the environment is working on preserving the land before it is destroyed and has secured a court injunction. Rachel development company has their bulldozers and chainsaws ready to destroy this significant natural area the moment they are able to. Disgusting behavior by a company that has no interest in doing the right thing.

This company is run by people you would not want as your neighbors. In my opinion, they have dollar signs for eyeballs. They are coming to our city and destroying our history and then they will run back to Summit Avenue and Minnetonka with their pockets full of the money they love and worship and without a care about what they did to us. This company does not care about the historical significance of a house that has stood before Minnesota was a state. They could have moved only a little to save it. The house stood when the trading post existed on Grey Cloud. The notorious Mr. Phelan spent time at the trading post and the people who lived in the house probably knew him. Just because someone made a few changes to the exterior does not mean that it was not one of the oldest homes in Minnes

there is no reason to build as many houses as possible while destroying nature and cutting down a bunch of trees . it is very evil , you are hurting wild life and a small community that wants to stay that way. nobody should want such expensive houses that have no yard and all look the same .

Disgusting that this company is responsible for the destruction of a globally rare ecosystem, killing of Endangered species, and the demolition of an increasingly rare pre-statehood historic home. This company gives the field of development a BAD reputation.

Unethical company practices, to say the least.
