I have lived at Plumtree Apartments for about a year now. I have loved this apartment living complex ever since my boyfriend and I moved in. The leasing office agents are super friendly and understandable when it comes to my many questions about any issues occurring inside of the apartment complex. Maintenence does take a bit to get to work orders due to short staffing, which is understandable with me as there are many buildings on the apartment's property, as well as making sure the lawn's grassy areas are kept cut at most times and snow out of the way for tenants to get inside the Apartments safely. Living at Plumtree has been a very disappointing experience. There is a serious pest problem—roaches and mice are common, and in some buildings, it feels like an infestation. Even after submitting proof and complaints, management often dismisses the issue and suggests residents are responsible because “no one else is complaining.” As a result, nothing gets resolved. Communication and response times are extremely poor. Maintenance requests can take weeks just to get a reply, and the usual excuse is that they are short-staffed. The only thing they respond to quickly is offering to let you break your lease without a penalty, instead of fixing the problems. Parking is very limited and poorly managed. BEWARE!!! They do not disclose that absolutely NO smoking is allowed on the property, even in the street. BUT, when youre looking over the lease before you sign, it is in VERY small print deep inside the lease in a line buried by other things so you wont know unless you read the lease word for word. Its hidden. And they dont offer to return your $200 administrative fee either. Very sneaky and underhanded! Awhat a racket theyve got going. Crooks

Don't listen to all the negative reviews from people who have never even rented a place here, (or have been evicted)! We have lived here for 15 months now, and absolutely LOVE our 2bed 1 bath 3rd floor unit. The living areas are awesomely proportioned. The living room is HUGE for an apartment with nice high ceilings , and the full sized dining room is a very welcome rarity in this price range. We also enjoy our large balcony area, which easily doubles as an outdoor living space 8 months out of the year. Add to this mix forced air heat, and central air conditioning, and Plumtree blows the competition away for value and spaciousness.The location also cannot be beat; there are three grocery stores and multiple other shopping venues and restaurants within easy walking distance.
