Pine Ridge Apartments

Former tenant in the late 90s. Heart of chocolate city, featured on the reality TV show COPS and my mother was a former on site property manager. Rent was affordable for the time and they did their best keeping the place clean and maintained. I developed many childhood memories here and I will never forget this place. It's the hood so if your ok with an older building, rents should be compareitivly lower than the surrounding area. I went to school on Fort Lewis base, now JBLM.

This place is trashed nothing like the website shows. Trash is everywhere and people just let there kids destroy everything throwing rocks and poles leaving trash all over the parking lot breaking stuff and leaving it in the middle of the road the dumpster is always full with piles of trash surrounded the trash cans you can barely walk around trash piles with bag in front of almost everyone door or at the end of walk ways old broken furniture left outside on porches. They charge way to much here compared to the rest of the apartment complex’s just surrounding the area this one’s a junk yard. If I could leave Les then one star I would.

I live in the back property, the tenants here let their kids run behind the apartment and have thrown their trash behind the chain link fence into my yard. My dog multiple times has had to go to the vet because of blockages and sickness from whatever they're giving him. I have had to cover my fence with black garden tarp so he doesnt freak out and try to go for their fingers and the people living here continue to poke holes, tear down the tarp, and tease my dog. My dog has become more agitated around people now kids because of the constant teasing even though MULTIPLE times I've asked the kids to stop teasing my dog. Just caught a adult taking photos of my yard and dog from behind the fence. We also have cockroaches from the roaches that thrive on the apartments and the trash left outside.

I was given an opportunity t ok get an apt. I have not good credit and needed a place quickly. Management worked with me and got me I to one. Since I have been here, there is a major infestation of roaches. Manager says that I need to keep my apt cleaner? Roaches were spotted as we were moving in. Nothing has been done about this problem. They are in my freezer, refrigerator, cabinets, etc. Now I have a water heater that isn't working. Been without hot water now for 1 day. Notified the manager and as of yet no response. Very unhappy here

That appt complex my mother lives in is roach infested manager does not do any type of repairs she plays favortisimtowards towards the tenants. Im looking to see who the private owner is im doing it right now as we speak because truthfully she does not follow manager expectations she should not have the responsibilty of being a manger because she is not.
