PHH Mortgage

They are scammers and constantly try to increase your payments for no reason. They can't even figure out how to create an escrow account to withhold homeowners insurance and taxes. Just found out that I had a $507 overage for my 2025 taxes which they ended up keeping. Unfortunately I can't give them a ZERO star rating. Run run as fast as you can away from these clowns!!!!

Worst mortgage company on earth. I did not choose to do business with PHH Mortgage — my loan was sold to them by another lender, and my experience has been terrible ever since. My monthly payment increases every year, and PHH consistently blames it on property taxes. However, according to my county tax statements, this explanation is not true. I have reviewed the official tax records multiple times, and the increases do not match what PHH claims. I have disputed the issue repeatedly, provided documentation, and spent countless hours trying to resolve it, but despite this, they raised my payment again this year with no clear or accurate justification. The lack of transparency, poor customer service, and failure to properly explain or correct escrow and tax calculations is extremely frust

Thas a terrible company, very bad customer service, they don't like to help their customers, since I have them my mortgage is up all the time.

I have to agree with the other reviews that PHH Mortgage is a mortgage company to stay away from. First of all, they are behind in the times and do not work well software that is used to help you with your budget, like Mint. Secondly, to try to get a payoff request is like pulling teeth. They need new leadership to turn this company around!

I agree with the rest of the reviews. My payments goes up every year. Saying they did not insurance. And had to use their expensive insurance. I sent it and insurance company sent. Ready for rates to go to refinance,
