Peninsula Neighborhood

I couldn’t find the details about the apartment buildings in the peninsula HOWEVER I lived on McCleary at the Hickory and the Willow on Foster road. The Hickory was mysteriously making my dogs have nose bleeds and causing us all severe illnesses. Then when all the pipes started to burst in the winter it was clear that some parts of the building were molded over. Upon moving to the Willow I started getting worse—having severe allergic reactions and autoimmune attacks had not realized that this crept up in my closet/behind my shelving. It’s such a mess. They were not kind and robbed us not just money but our health!

The Peninsula Neighborhood is definitely an Iowa City destination to experience for locally and those visiting the area. There are some nice shops and a fascinating mix of architecture.

In my opinion, the neighborhood is one of unfulfilled promises. It is a shadow of what it could have been. I feel the leadership has been poor.

This place is so cute and has a very dog friendly atmosphere
