Park Villas Apartments

This was the first apartment I moved into with my husband. It's spacious and affordable compared to other places. I loved the kitchen the most because it had a lot of counter space. Laundry in-unit is a huge plus and there's plenty of parking. Location is decent, it's very close to base which was where I worked. We lived here for three years and never had any major issues with the unit. If we needed maintenance, it was fixed in a day or two. They're great with keeping up. I've always had good experiences with the management, they're attentive and they do care for your needs regarding the apartment. I'd like to give out a shoutout to April, Sandy, and Mandy who I've had the pleasure to engage with throughout my years of living here. They're very kind and professional.

Mold in all vents, growing on wall where a cold water pipe condensed. Cleaned with isopropyl multiple times never went away, evident of a larger problem. Took a picture a while back but cant find it and im not gonna waste time trying to find it. Bathroom constantly grew mold and slime, even while running the fan and cleaning weekly. Water leaked from the ceiling once, but that stuff happens. For the rent prices, the amenities are shockingly bad. In my 2 years here only one of the two grills ever worked, and both were always disgusting. The propane fire pit is nice but there is no key for it out there, so you have to bring a pliers or something to turn it on and off, and often it has trash in it. Great apartments, great prices! Centrally located to everything that I need when I am Home, and easily accessible to D.C. yet just far enough away from it. The grounds are well kept, and the staff!!! The staff are simply amazing in every way. Just when I thought I wouldn’t be able to find a place, the office staff were helpful, and our out my fears at ease. Above and beyond!

April is such a great person to work with! I was on deployment and she helped me out with so much with the time difference and inured communication. She’s been such a great help with so much understanding. I highly recommend living at Park Villas! After living in the complex for some time, I’ve found that the team has changed. They’re pretty accommodating and professional. However, the dog poop situation was starting to get out of hand. For tenants, if you don’t pick up your dog’s poop, you’ll be fined $100 but people still weren’t picking up what their dog was putting down. I did enjoy how friendly the maintenance and office staff were. They made it easy to get things settled and fixed. Park Villas is a pretty quiet neighborhood all in all.

Living in this community was nice. A new job moved me to this area and i had a short time to find a place to live. All the staff are so very nice and helpful, the maintenance man Johnny is very good at what he does. They had just turned the inner section into a dog park shortly after i moved in, so i loved letting my dogs run around in there; just wish they had an entrance on both ends, but i guess that would only work if people even remembered to close the other side.. I have to say my experience living there was great up until it was time to move out. Thinking i was ahead of the game in preparing to move out, and giving them notice, i seemed to have fallen short and "apparently" not given them ENOUGH notice. Point being, when it's time to move out, make sure you read your lease, and the
