MONEY-HUNGRY GREEDY MGMT, INHUMANE LIVING CONDITIONS!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND RENT ELSEWHERE!!!! We moved into Park Square in November 2018 and loved living there for a few years. It was brand new and always clean, the Management and staff were super friendly and helpful, and there were community events every month! But with the change in Management 2-3 years back, it’s become a terrible place to live. The Management team only cares about the bottom line, and will stop at nothing to get as much money from you as they can. The constant shortage of parking spaces at the complex creates daily issues for both guests and residents, and they’ll have your car towed instantly without even a warning (I know from experience, unfortunately). AVOID Building 3000!! I recently moved out of Park Square after living there two years. I decided not to renew my lease as it’s become a terrible place to live. Pros: Maintenance staff and UDR technology. Sharron, Josh and Bill are great. Issues are addressed quickly and competently. Technology is great as you can access the main building, front door of your building, side access doors and your unit door from your phone without a key, and allow access for others. UDR is a money grab so by investing in this it allows them to allow self guided tours to prospective tenants and does make it easier to get around the community. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD Anyone considering living here, reconsider. To start from the very beginning, I applied which requires a large deposit. Somewhere around $400-$500. I never heard back- so I reached out which was extremely difficult since they have no actual point of contact and only a text line with a robot. When I finally got a hold of someone in the office, they very rudely told me it’s not their fault, I must have missed an email and I need to reapply with another $400-$500 deposit since it’s non refundable for any reason. Eventually after contacting corporate they apologized and said they NEVER sent the original email to confirm after application. This MONEY HUNGRY place sneaks charges into your account and charges your card for rent any time they want. You pay rent early and move on, they don’t charge the card for 1-2 weeks. Hopefully you still have the same $3,000+ in your account because if you don’t, they charge an extra $300 on top of rent. This is aside from the god awful parking issues. You pay $65 for a reserved spot and have to park on the other side of the complex. Imagine having kids and how that will turn out every day. You park in a spot close to where you live, you’re towed. I love the Park Square Apartments starting from the wonderful staff and greatest amenities. The whole building is secured with key FOB. nice patio to relax and great barbecue equipment. Thanks Sarah for assisting and responding fastly.
