Park Place at Shelby Farms

We have submitted several requests to have the heating fixed. When the maintenance staff came to inspect it, they claimed that there was nothing wrong with the heat blowing. However, we have been without heat for over a month. If the system were working properly, we wouldn't be freezing in these below-freezing temperatures. Please come and fix our heat.

I'm a current resident living in a 3 bedroom/2 bath. To anyone considering moving here, there are 7 additional "community" fees on top of the rent. So, your monthly expenses will be more than what's advertised. I thought that it's fair to inform people so it's not a surprise when you become a resident. The property management has changed 3 times since I've lived here and they keep changing the extra fees. Ask about them when you come for a tour.

GO BACK TO OLD MANAGEMENT!!! ***long post alert*** I lived here for 3 years with no issues until management changed! I went the whole summer without my air working properly, which caused my bill to skyrocket. My HVAC was also located above my tub, which leaked dirty water causing the tub to rust. When I called, the office people had attitudes that were unwarranted, and my maintenance request were being completed without anyone coming. They basically stalled me out until the temperature changed and I wasn’t compensated for or anything mean while paying for 2 full baths and didn’t have a functioning tub in one of them. Applied, had a move in date, paid a deposit, saw my unit, just for the office to change my quoted rent from $1425 to $1700 something a month! They wouldn’t even do $1550 after their mistake. They also refused to refund my $150 admin fees & $50 application fee. I guess I was supposed to go for a completely different price ON MY MOVE IN DATE. Horribly managed. Don’t waste your time & money!

If I could give it 0 stars, I definitely would! The apartment complex is overall very nice, I’ve been here almost 2, going on 3 years! They’ve changed the staff SEVERAL times! They are very unprofessional and rude! They don’t have a clue who’s running the company and barely know how to do their jobs! I plan on moving AS SOON AS I CAN! I’ve had issues back to back since I signed a new lease with them. It’s RIDICULOUS! Look somewhere else!!!! WARNING! This review was made on October 15, 2025!!
