Velo Shelby Farms Apartments

If you’re planning on moving here think again. Dog washing station has been a disaster since I moved in 4 months ago if somehow you manage to turn on the water you’re gonna get more wet than your dog, car wash hose has been broken for 3 weeks so we can’t wash our cars either, gates are always down and are often left opened overnight, packages get stuck in the locker since it requires service to work and half the time not even our WiFi works. Management will give you violation notices for things that are not even in the contract and will invest their time and energy in inspections instead of fixing their own issues first. I’ve lived in so many apartment complexes and this is the first one that I actually feel uncomfortable living in.

Velo at Shelby Farms is HOME! My fiance and I moved in at the very beginning (June 2021). We have never had ANY issues over the last year and a half. Joe and his team take care of any maintenance requests quickly and efficiently. Devin, Timothy and now Ashley keep this place running smooth and in tip top shape and they do it with a smile! The amenities are top tier with a clean gym, beautiful pool, multiple grills/outdoor seating areas with a fireplace or fire pit, dog wash, and car wash station. My favorite is the community library in the leasing office. The community ranges from singles to families and it truly feels like a quaint little neighborhood. 12/10 recommend!!

I recently toured this apartment community and had the pleasure of speaking with the assistant manager, Breanna. She was incredibly professional, thorough, and honest throughout the entire process. She answered all of my questions clearly, provided helpful information, and made me feel confident about the community. Her customer service truly stood out and made my visit a great experience.

First off, the apartment building is beautiful. The amenities and grounds are always kept so clean. It's so nice to drive home to a beautiful clean space every night! Maintenance has always come same day, or next day and fixed anything we needed to be fixed. They work quickly and efficiently. We have unfortunately had some noise problems with neighbors, BUT Timothy and the security team have handled it professionally and have made sure to find the problem and fix it so we can all enjoy our homes. Most apartments would just tell you to deal with it, but not this one. I feel that this is the first apartment complex I've lived in where the whole staff cares about the residents and will do their best to make sure we all have a peaceful, enjoyable home to live in. I have nothing but good things to say about Velo! The apartments are nicely designed and the complex itself is beautiful. The fitness center is great as well as the pool and outdoor entertainment areas. The location is unmatched but most importantly property management is awesome and quick to address any issues that arise to make sure all residents are happy! 10/10 would recommend!
