Palmer Street Apartments

It doesn’t matter if it’s 3PM or 3AM, there’s always music blasting out of some guys truck loud enough to hear in Canada. Complained plenty of times, nothing has happened. And there’s dog poop everywhere. Sickening. Staff is nice and maintenance is good, but dear lord I am fed up with the inconsiderate people that live in this complex.

Never again, I moved in to find a bee/wasp/hornet, infestation as well as many other bugs, was very hard to get management to actually get someone to fix this problem, I slept in my car a couple times, horribly insulated, was paying almost $300 a month in winter for electric and heat with thermometer set at 70. Walls were very thin and can hear everything the neighbors are doing. I moved in because rent seemed sort of cheap at $740 but the National grid bill will easily make that price go up to 1K before any other expenses

When we first moved in the apartment had brand new carpets and everyone seemed really nice. We soon found out that the toilet upstairs was shut off so we had it turned back on. As soon as it was turned back on we realized it was off for a reason. The toilet leaks. Into the floor. So now my living room ceiling is leaking all over my couch. They had to come replace the toilet only to find out the plumbing upstairs in the tub leaks too. So not only did we not have the toilet upstairs we had to endure 2 to 3 weeks of repairs for all the plumbing and the ceiling in the living room. This apartment was not checked over before it was rented. The apartment itself was dirty after being "cleaned" by their staff. After all that we were moving out at the end of our lease. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE LEASE!!

Don’t risk it. Only communicate with them in writing and save everything they tell you! Don’t ever trust them with verbal communication. Always have a witness with you if the maintenance man enters ur residence. My list of needed repairs is up to a dozen but they never return to finish a project they start. They always say they need to go get a tool they “forgot” and they never come back. The office says they can’t be responsible for what maintenance did “in the past” every time I call.

Won’t fix our heat. Won’t fix our water. A pipe burst down two apartments rents & ours flooded. They never replaced the now nasty carpets. They told us our electric bill wouldn’t be anymore than $150... it has been on average $300!!! If I could get out of my lease I would leave in a heartbeat!
