They were cool until it was time for me to move out. First of all my lease was canceled 6 weeks before my renewal date and I was told I need to relocate. The home was left clean beside normal we and tear that you will get living in a home for 2 yrs. I told them I was cleaning up the stuff in the yard and had it scheduled for the city to pick up and a man to come clean it up. The management sent someone out to clean it up anyway and took $515 from my deposit. My lease agreement says not to worry about taking down wall mounts but I’m being charged for the wall mount! Not to mention the home is in the gutter of south KCMO “Ruskin heights” I’ve experienced shootings in my front yard at 7pm for no reason! Cars being broken into! And much more! We have been renting with Option Management for a couple of years now. Honestly, we have run into very few issues with our rental, but when we have, Patrick is always super quick to respond and ensure any issues are resolved. They are kind, quick, and thorough with any maintenance needs. I have rented from many different companies and Option Management is the best.

Either the landlord and property manager(s) are not on the same page. Or maybe they just enjoy giving me a hard time. But I have been living in my home for all of 6.5 months with 9 more to go and I just wish I would have known what I know now before I moved in. You have to constantly call about maintenance requests, for it to either get overlooked or half fixed. And some of the properties are for sure not worth what they’re marked as. I also do not believe much work was put into my place before I moved in. They take their time fixing concerns then find things to harass you about. Money hungry

I rented an apartment for residency purposes for 6 months. They were aware I was not going to be actually living in the apartment. I checked on it periodically to run the water, dust, etc. I paid rent on time and, considering no one actually lived there, the apartment was in the exact same condition as when I leased it. YET they still found a way to charge me for several items when my deposit was owed back to me. Money hungry.

Great company. Been renting from them for 3 years now and they are the best rental company I've ever done business with. Pat is super understanding and truly cares about his tenants. Goes above and beyond to make sure we're happy.
