Walt was extremely efficient and effective support as he fixed our dishwasher. We deeply appreciate having Walt as the Oaks maintenance man, and our friend!

Hugo came out to work on a "chirping problem" and as always was cheerful and patient., despite the ridiculously early maintenance emergency! Thanks Hugo! Always does a great job!

I have been here a year now and it was a great decision to make the Oaks my home. This is a wonderful welcoming community. There are so many great amenities such as a pool, hot tub, large fitness center, coffee provided in the lobby area and a library with books you can borrow. There are many activities available should you choose to get involved (monthly pot lucks, social hour and pickleball court). Colleen is very helpful and is always keeping us in the loop with important information. I recently had to have my garbage disposal replaced and I can’t say enough about Spencer. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. It did take a week to get a replacement as they had to order a new one. I would recommend keeping multiple backups available in such a large facility. Finally,

Walter is the maintenance man here at The Oaks of Shorewood. We are very lucky. I put a work order on the computer yesterday morning about a ceiling light that needed to be fixed. Walter was here by early afternoon, analyzed the problem immediately and within five minutes had it fixed. I have had a couple of other maintenance needs and he has handled them equally well. He’s very efficient, through and timely. Plus always pleasant to speak with. He knows his stuff. I love it here at The Oaks.
