Oak Valley Apartments

I had a really positive experience with Valor Property Management. Maribel at Oak Valley Apartments in El Cajon is great and always helpful, responsive, and easy to talk to. I lived at Oak Valley for 17 years, which says a lot about the management. Even though I moved into a house, if I ever need to rent an apartment again, Maribel would be my first call. Definitely recommend Valor Property Management!

Despite a lot of bad reviews I do believe this place has been a sanctuary for me. Since the new manager Maribel has started taken over I’ve seen a 100% improvement. The property is always clean, safe, and well-maintained, but what really makes this place stand out is our manager. She works so hard every single day to make sure residents are taken care of. Whether it’s quickly handling maintenance requests or just being available to answer questions, she goes above and beyond. You can tell she genuinely cares about the residents and the property. She’s made so many improvements since I moved in, and it really shows — the grounds look great, things run smoothly, and communication is always clear and friendly. worst place to live, roaches for years, they don't care, i have children in the home. raise the rent $100 a year. Every time i have to request pest maintenance, they always say they will put me on regular services, never happened. I have to call and call. The water gets shut off every single day. no discount on your water for the month tho. I've asked for carpets to be replaced, and for flooring that came up to b replaced, they straight up told me they would not fix the floor until i moved out. It was not worth the money to them. Even thought when i moved in i was paying 1475, now i pay 2100, no upgrade, no new carpet, nothing. I've written letters to the property company, to the city ordinance. I have pictures and documentation. i cant afford the deposit on a new place as well as the firs

Im a tenant at oak valley apartments and I would like to say that ever since Maribel took over as the apt manager, a lot has changed and gotten better! The property has been slowly remodeled and it’s 100x better than what it was with the previous management.

Please fire this manager. She is extremely rude, unprofessional, and makes things difficult. She is useless, doesn’t care about complaints, and even makes fun of people. This is the worst place to live.
