Oak Terrace Apartments

I moved to these apartments and we love it! 🤩Angelik was helping me with all the process and answered all my questions. The complex is very clean, quiet, and the neighbors I have met so far have been very kind. It was good decision move in here I recommend. I also love that this is a secured building and they gave me a free tv! ❤️

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel like I have to say something. This apartment complex has gone so far downhill in the last month. I absolutely do NOT recommend moving here. First off, it’s disgusting. The stairwells, hallways, and elevators are filthy and clearly not maintained anymore. It used to be well-kept, but it seems like they just stopped having cleaners come altogether. One stairwell smelled so strongly of sour milk and garbage that we couldn’t even use it for over two weeks. And the constant smell of weed throughout the building is unavoidable. Secondly, we’ve all been asking for security cameras for YEARS. Nothing ever changes. Meanwhile, tenants face zero accountability…There are car break-ins, property damage, and people openly carrying rifles around the complex, w

We have been living at Oak Terrace Apartments in Lakewood since June 2025, and overall, we’ve really enjoyed our unit and most of the apartment community. However, we’ve been having significant problems with tenants who regularly smoke weed on their patio. Despite several attempts on our part to address this directly with the downstairs neighbors, and multiple communications with the office staff, the issue persists. The smoke is not only annoying, but it’s also in direct violation of the Smoke-Free Lease, which prohibits smoking on the property. The smell of marijuana constantly wafts into our apartment, creating an unpleasant and unprofessional environment for me, as I work with young children and I can't smell like marijuana. Excellent move in experience overall. The staff here are absolutely amazing. The property manager, Jaz, was so helpful with the entire process from the application to picking up the keys. Rachel, the maintenance representative, is great and kept me updated on all the updates for my unit. I was so impressed watching the staff interact with the other tenants with the everyday things that happen while I was moving in; Jaz really cares about the tenants, and you can see that in how attentive she is with everyone. I was shocked to learn that it is just the two of them working as a team running the complex. This impressive team of two should get raises for how efficient they are. This is a family friendly and clean community. The manager Jazmin is very dedicated to her job and always helpful. She goes the extra mile to make sure that the residents needs are addressed and taken care of. Very professional lady. It feels like what home should feel like!
