I just moved in. I think it might've been union built & it shows. Very impressive especially for public housing! My only concerns are neighbor issues like litter & noise & management can be very last minute which is stressful, maintenance also doesn't always want to perform work I need which is frustrating. Overall though this is a beautiful complex close to the suburbs which is nice & I hope we can all work together to keep it beautiful & appreciate what we have. Also maintenance warmed up to me & I to them they're awesome. Update: After 3 months a family with 2 young children moved in above my unit. The other review wasn't kidding. I can hear EVERYTHING they are doing & the kid & lady are loud. It's like I'm living WITH them, vs below them. I've ordered noise canceling headphones & will

April 2021 I moved into my brand new one bedroom apartment home. I've been here ever since and have no intention to leave. This has become my home. I've become disabled due to being diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis, bulging disc, and sciatica on both sides of my lower back, legs, and feet. I'm no longer able to work. I applaud the office staff for their patience, care! I'm glad to be spending the rest of my days here at Northside Village. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. As a resident of Schenectady, it's nice to have a place to call home. Thank you Northside Village for giving me a home!!!
I moved in 3 1/2 half years ago. This is my home! It's the apartment home that has met all my needs. It has all the amenities I was looking for. Now that I'm no longer able to work the rental price meets my budget. Northside village is safe, well lighted and quiet so I can take my walks. The traffic noice don't bother me. Thank you Pennrose management team for your patience while I was waiting for SSDI approval! Truly and sincerely thank you!🙂
I am not a resident there. But my friend's family is happy with the apartment.
