I would never use this company again. My home flooded we continued to pay the mortgage for 7 months while not living there. After we sent a letter of intent in Jan and were told to pay the balance before it could be applied. We paid the balance new Rez rep told us that we were good to go and no need to pay Feb it was going to take time to process. February came we received a bill to pay and paid it. When we called to see if we would receive the money back once it was settled. We were told it was processed incorrectly on their end and would be 2 days to fix. We called back 3 days later because we now have a bill for March. And they have said the lady days prior did this incorrectly and they will fix it. This will take 3 days and they will submit to see if we can get our money back. I really

Poor customer service people! Like robots! They sent my escrow money back then increased my mortgage..I had it voided and wanted reevaluating! They said no matter what my mortgage was not going to be revaluated ! Then in 10 days they sent another video saying they were sending it again! Now the check is no where to be found and they don't show it voided ! Ridiculous! No help I want my mortgage revaluated and decreased as should be before they keep sending my escrow overage! The county taxes and insurance increased two years ago and it was all paid with no shortages! So why increase it now? I had case numbers pending and I never heard a word back from anyone! No heart ! I have never experienced such draining issues I'm 62 and I need a fair review with the money in the account not all this

Elena Frac is amazing. She was the reason we even took a step towards refinancing. She worked quickly to give us a quote, fix our old loan to better suit us, and got us started. She was very diligent with communication and explaining the steps to move forward. Matthew Good was amazing during this refinancing process. He answered every question I had and explained the whole process in a way that I could understand. The communication was top notch and I appreciated the multiple options to get ahold of him. He went above and beyond when we needed extra information. The process to refinance our loan was very smooth, quick, and easy and I give all the credit to the both of them!

Newrez has been one of the most frustrating and obstructive companies I have ever dealt with. Trying to get a simple reinstatement amount to stop a foreclosure turned into a complete runaround. This is time-sensitive, standard information — yet they repeatedly refused to provide it. I spoke with someone in Loss Mitigation named John Ward, and the interaction was shockingly unprofessional. I stayed direct and polite the entire call, but he became rude and emotional, refused to answer basic questions, and would not provide details about a prior request I was specifically told to call back about. This mortgage company is the worst. They like to put my payments into the prior month principle payment, then threaten me with late fees because I am behind. They don't just fix it. They "escalate" it. All the while, I am still receiving multiple emails a day. The last call I asked for a supervisor voicemail... I was sent to a non functioning line. This place is terrible. On purpose, I am sure. If they would sell my loan, I would be forever grateful.
