Initially I really enjoyed my time at Montgomery Manor. Now, things are starting to become a lot clearer about how the staff function after a few years of residing here. The office staff have been nothing but kind when it comes to anything we’re having issues with and any concerns we’ve had. However, maintenance tickets will often be closed without anyone coming to complete the needed maintenance. It also appears that during snow removal, the staff members prioritize their own cars and paths to their units and neglect other areas of the property. The maintenance staff have plowed in cars more than once that were freshly shoveled from a snow storm that left a foot of snow. UPDATE: heat was finally “fixed” on 12/24/25. The “owner” replied to the review but they did not reach out to rectify my prolonged delay in proper heating which went against the warrant of habitability. Their reply must be automated because if I did not get relief from the leasing office in the first place why would I now? There have been no discussions on reimbursement for my astronomical electric costs due to using emergency heat and space heaters for a prolonged period of time nor a rent abatement for the delay and the apartment being uninhabitable during this time regardless of attempts made by us to be flexible and even request a unit change either temporarily or permanently when they had 8 empty identical units. UPDATE: Heating will not be fixed until supposedly Christmas Eve 12/24/

I've lived here since April 2023 and from before I even signed the lease I started experiencing problems. I was told the carpet had been replaced after the last tenant had moved out, but when doing my walk-through before signing the lease it was very obviously not new as there were paint and stains and dirt all over the carpet. They then tried to claim that the carpet had been professionally cleaned, despite the carpet being filthy and requiring me to vacuum it as I could see dirt everywhere. I was then promised in writing via text by the leasing office that the carpet would be replaced, which after two months of me following up on they eventually flat-out said they will not replace it, and offered to have them professionally cleaned "again". If I could give 10000 stars I would. My family struggled to find an apartment complex we loved before MM fell into our hands. We never lasted in a complex in the are for more than 10months. Right from the beginning we were treated amazing by Lauren. We knew at the tour that our couch shape would require an end unit and Lauren personally reached out to me as soon as one opened, which luckily happened to be just a few hours after the tour. The maintenance team is amazing. Everything was completed in 24 hours or less. If they couldn’t fix it right away or needed parts, the team would personally text us for updates. Management continually lies, from not being able to open up the amazon hub for packages, to closing repair tickets before repairs are done, to charging carpet replacement fees when moving out when they only "cleaned them".
