Mechanics Bank

I had to transfer 5 separate bank accounts, each with a different set of challenges, to HomeStreet from another institution. One of the accounts was a trust that required legal paperwork and another was an e-commerce account with multiple payment processors. So far we have had zero problems with the changeovers and usually have a response within the same day that our account is active and operating immediately with fund transfers. I have been using the Grand Ridge Plaza location on the Issaquah Plateau and rarely, if ever, have to wait. Pretty much all of the managers I have worked with are well familiar with our business operations and are able to work within our different accounts with little direction. Move to Issaquah a month ago from FL. Called all the banks close by and most of them are not very friendly. This bank (HSB) in Ellis Dr. turns out to be way above expectation. Fast in personal and business accounts opening. Safe deposit box at very good price. Into interest rate, notary public and great coffee. What else can you ask for from a bank.

After paying our mortgage for 10 years, they sold it to some unknown crooks, who are in litigation with thousand of mortgage owners for trying to forcefully foreclose, steal houses, blackmail, bully, charge penalties, pretend to have lost payments and what have you. So, HomeStreet made the money from our interest, and when our interest went down because we've been paying for years, they threw us to the mafia to lose our home. Don't ever do business with these people, especially don't ever take a house loan with them, they'll use you and dump you.

Not my main bank, which was a mistake. The branch on NE Ellis in Issaquah has been so helpful in getting some time sensitive things done for me! GREAT customer service!!!
