Tom came with the highest of recommendations from a friend and he still somehow managed to exceed them. Tom is honest, timely, efficient, personable, and competitive. It is very obvious how passionate he is about finding you your dream home at the best price. He is relentless at protecting your interests as a home owner and is extremely patient in counseling those of us who know nothing about the real estate market. In a sellers market, Tom found us our dream home we never thought we could afford within our budget. He is well connected so inspections, getting a mortgage at a great rate, etc were all easy. I tried to find a buyer's agent on Monday, Dec 23. Called the main office and was quickly greeted by a receptionist type person, very friendly and seemingly trying to help. After being placed on hold for a minute or two, told that no one was "available right now." He then stated that he would transfer me to the office manager, who would be able to find an agent. The transfer is made and everything went downhill fast. Once I stated the reason for the call (odd that he did not already know who and why someone was being transferred), the "office manger" proceeded to grill me with "how did you get this number?" The "office manager" has NO customer service skills and by the way he was spinning and telling me how their "office works," I will assume he has no management skills. In the course of t

As a new agent John L Scott is not a good fit. I wish they would tell new brokers how the industry works before they let them hang their license. Absolutely no guidance or support for new agents. I went to Keller Williams and the culture there is amazing, they actually sat me down and gave me all the tools to succeed. Part of this lands on me for choosing this brokerage but at the same time please communicate to new agents what you’re actually getting into! When I was with John L Scott I only had one hour each week to learn about the industry. Very upset with my experience with this brokerage seemed a little to cut throat and no support.
