Mebane Mill Lofts

“Mebane Mills Loft” should be “GoodTimes Loft” I was going to move here myself! I walked into the entry where the office is. It was raining that day; I noticed how DAMP AND HUMID the building felt. Walking down the dark hallway with some areas of the hallway lit; I walked into the apartment. IMMEDIATELY noticed how HUMID the DORM ROOM……..was. Looked in one of the bedrooms and noticed the CEILING FAN WAS DAMN NEAR FALLING FROM THE CEILING! Walked into the KITCHEN / DINING ROOM / LIVING ROOM; ALL COMBINED TOGETHER…………the school light fixture FULL OF DEAD BUGS! I said to myself, “man hell naa. Let me leave this dump.” D O………N O T………M O V E……….H E R E!

Do not move here bats infestation along with roaches. Resident has got bitten by bats. I hear them on the ceiling stratching and it spells horrible (see photos they tried to seal the holes), I'm moving out after my neigbors bats bite (I'm scared to death). I had a new neighbor they move because bats kept coming into their apartment. I sleep with all the lights on and burn essential oils. It's definitely unsafe dewelling the Alamance Health Department posted letter all over the building in January 2024 about the bats infestation. I heard they have black mold too from a neighbor who's been here said they never fix the problem she has had several bats in her apartment. I did encountered a bat last Friday flying in the hallway on the 1st floor. Almost hurt myself trying to get out the way. I

Nice apartment, but the thin walls and roaches are not. Also apartment 219 has bed bugs she stated when I visited. Why is it so hot int these apartments. Don’t call maintenance unless it’s over 82 degrees. They need bigger a/c unit for these apartments. And the laundry room washer and dryer are all was broken. I would think the renew process on the apartments would based it off of your yearly income for that year. And not on when you first moved in people income changes. This is suppose affordable Apartments.

The apartments are beautiful and they're very spacious, but those are about the only good points to living here. You can hear everything that goes on in your neighbors apartments. They go through management quickly. There's a new apartment manager about every 3 months. The policies change quickly and with little notice and for an apartment that is supposed to be for lower income, the rent has increased greatly since I moved here.

Nope! It is a beautiful place at a passing glance, very spacious, but it is really a large dorm room. The walls are paper thin I heard a lady on the phone and all of her contact info including ss#...that's just wrong. I have friends who live here and I know that depending on the section there are roaches...bad and mold during the Winter. SO glad I don't live there...it's income based and the people living there are really friendly, but I'll pass.
