Meadowbrook Apartments

I have applied to these apartments twice. The first time I was asked to give a $300 deposit and my deposit was kept for three months after I was told it would be returned to me in a week. This was in 2019. I recently applied again. And was told that I needed to give a $300 deposit just to apply. My credit was a little bit low so I did not get approved. However, again I was told my $300 would be returned to me in a week. It has now been over a month and the Russian lady at the front desk still has not Any Calls about my money or emails. I’m now going to start incorporating the court or the police just to get my $300 back. This place is a total scam. The fact that they tell you that they will return your $300 that you have to give them on top of an application fee just to apply in a week and

My partner and I lived here for a year but left because they increased our rent go up by 25%. The utilities were very expense, sometime $400 / month for PGE. The homeless people in the area were sometimes a problem, coming up to the second floor of the apartments. Donia the manager, was very nice and professional and helped us where ever she could!

UNSANITARY, UNSAFE, AND OVERPRICED ⚠️ I lived here for a year, it was a nightmare and this place is no where near worth the 2000+ a month. If anything this place needs to be condemned. We were given an apartment and had to move out the same day due to a German cockroach infestation they were on the counter and crawling out of the dishwasher DURING THE DAY They gave us a new apartment WHILE that apartment wasn’t infested inside the German and outdoor roaches hang out all around this property all night so do not leave your doors open they will crawl in. Our bathtub backed up maintenance vacuumed the nasty water out and dumped it on our front patio in the summer so it smelled when it would heat up. THE BATHROOM SINKS are not fitted properly if you drop something it is gone forever I called it

My colleagues and I were in search of a new home, and was scheduled for a tour this afternoon at 4:00 pm. The appointment was made online last week, and even received an email confirmation today for our appointment of the tour. My colleague and I were dismissed by the woman in the leasing office upon arrival. We informed her of our appointment at 4:00 pm, but she responded snarkly saying that we didn't. She didn't even give us a chance to show our confirmation email, and didn't want to resolve the issue. She was not helpful and was not willing to work with us thus resulting her into responding with assumptions. We were looking forward to view this property, but are no longer interested.

I had a very unpleasant experience.. I want to preface that I found this apartment online and looked at the floor plans to set up a tour. I did so, got an email to confirm my tour. At arrival to the apartment complex I waited 10 minutes for the leasing office to open up again (my appointment was 4pm I like to be punctual for sake of others time) as I walked in I informed the older woman that I had set up a tour, immediately she shakes her head, chuckles and says "no you don't", I was surprised and thrown off by this. She continued to ask questions about what I was looking for and interested in as if I did not fill out all this information online just to be told that "they do not have ANY units available" then was told there was a unit available for a different date than I had expressed.
