Capitol Yards

I lived at Capitol Yards for almost 6 years. It is well maintained, has great amenities, and overall is a great community. The staff are friendly and make the community feel safe - from leasing and office staff, to grounds and maintenance staff. I’ve lived in a one bedroom and two bedroom layouts and both are very spacious and the in unit amenities are great as well. The parking is a bonus for this complex also. Overall it’s a great community. I recommend Capitol Yards and will be back if I find myself in the area again.

We have lived at Capitol Yards for almost four years and have truly loved every moment. The staff—especially Tara and Christina in the front office, along with entire maintenance team members like Ron—are incredible. Our golden retriever LOVES it here as well. The local dog parks, river walks, nearby restaurants and coffee shops, and the friendly residents and their pets have been a huge plus. We also love the apartment layouts: open spaces, high ceilings, great appliances, and plenty of storage. Capitol Yards is gorgeous, safe, and very well maintained. The pool and gym area are clean and spacious, and the hot tub is great plus too. I have only the best things to say about Capitol Yards!

I lived at Capitol Yards for two years and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Christina and everyone else at the leasing office were always so warm, welcoming, helpful, and accommodating from the moment I toured all the way to the moment I turned in my keys. No one ever tried to nickel and dime me, and I felt very respected as a resident. Maintenance was also great, and always fulfilled requests in a timely manner. During baseball season, the fireworks from the River Cats’ Friday and Saturday home games can get pretty loud, but my positive experience made living here worth it! A little background on me, I am a medical student that has lived with my brother and dog at Capitol Yards for the last few months. Throughout my life I have lived at over 10 apartment complexes and I can safely say that this has been the best place I have ever lived at in my life. The maintenance requests are quick, the resident events are fun and engaging, and the staff was always cordial and helpful. The amenities are well kept and state of the art. The entire experience of living here has likewise been elevated by their star employee Ludwig Buonafina. He is the nicest, most hardworking, and efficient guy I have ever met across all apartment complexes. I do not recommend this place and suggest not applying here unless you are completely sure. We toured the property and were informed that if we applied, we would pay an application fee and a deposit. However, we were told that if we changed our minds within 72 hours after approval, we could get a refund of the deposit. We applied on Friday and received an approval email on Monday morning. On Tuesday, less than 24 hours after approval, we realized that their rents are higher than similar apartments in the area, and there are better two-bedroom options nearby, so we decided to revoke our application. Even though the documents we signed and the deposit receipt clearly state that we have 48 hours to cancel (the documents they make you sign and what they state to you during a tour do not match)
