I have witnessed firsthand the development of Stratford Square by McKinley Homes in Lawrenceville, Ga from the very beginning and wouldn’t buy one of their homes if I had all the money in the world! They not only cleared the land, but dig approximately 20 ft down from the original ending of the dirt road. It created all kinds of erosion issues early as seen in the photos. They were given a work stop order to address the problem. They have attempted to reroute a stream and ended up with standing water where they would eventually pave the road down to phase 2. Fast forward to building…they would start pouring foundations at 5:30am unconcerned with homes that had been in the area for 40-50 years. They would even work before hours on Saturdays. They have no regard for the people who have lived

My wife and I purchased our first home with McKinley Homes in the Clark Farms Community and couldn’t be more satisfied with our home buying process. Charleen was a Gem and answered all our questions and gave us a pleasant experience. We were to their preferred lender and was guided carefully through the mortgage process. They let us visit the house as many times as we wanted we were so excited. This community is perfect for young families with children, there’s many neighbors with small children that already have become friends with our kids. We bought in the Highland Park subdivision it’s only been two months but so far so good. Jimmy the builder has been a pleasure to work with. He’s easy to get in touch with and is quick in getting things fixed. The only issue I’ve had was the stove wasn’t working properly the first week but Jimmy took care of it and had it fixed. I do feel they should have done a better job protecting the flooring as there was a lot of paint overspray on the hardwood floors. The landscaping could have been laid better I have a few spots in my yard where there’s missing SOD / SOD with wires showing. Overall we are pleased with our purchase and we love our new neighborhood.

I recently purchased an investment property from McKinley Homes at Somerset at Riverbrook in Gainesville. The staff in the investment department were incredibly helpful. They provided detailed information about the surroundings of the property and the overall construction process. Throughout the construction, they continuously updated us on the progress. During the inspection, there were only a few minor repairs needed, and the overall delivery quality was excellent. I will definitely recommend my friends to purchase from them as well.
