Corners at 1700 Apartments

I’m only giving this place one star because zero isn’t an option. I normally don’t write reviews, but living here was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I initially left a positive review after my tour, only because I was asked to, but I’ve since deleted it after everything I went through. I was told the apartment had been fully renovated, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. In my first month, the AC stopped working. Later, the furnace had to be replaced. The dishwasher never worked, and a part in the shower had to be replaced. Basic living conditions were a constant issue. There were numerous stray cats all over the property, which led to a flea infestation inside my apartment, completely unacceptable. Maintenence is quick to respond to things that need attention. Huge plus for apartment complex! Living here has been a good experience. I have been here going on 2 years. Have not had any major bug problems which is another HUGE PLUS for apartment living!!! If you live close to the soccer field, be aware that your car may get hit with the soccer balls as they are kicked over the fence frequently and hit the vehicles often. Overall, Corners is a decent place to live. I am a single mother of 2 kids and so far, living here on a lower income has been manageable! THANK YOU CORNERS @ 1700!!!

I scheduled a tour here about two weeks ago and upon arrival the front desk lady was super dismissive she let me know it would be a self guided tour which I didn’t mind but just handed me a random key then circled the apartment on a HUGE map which I got lost but found my way. Pools were green, breezeway had ugly green turf looking material that was tearing up and roaches were there to greet me in every cabinet including feces and signs of infestation. Walls were also poorly painted and they didn’t even try to make the place look presentable. I didn’t stay in that disgusting unit for more than 5 minutes they need to do better. Police were also posted outside upon arrival not sure what that was about but it was unsettling. I wouldn’t waste my time with this apartment complex. VERY disappoint

I am grateful to have had a place to call home for the past year, and I do not take that lightly. However, I would not recommend these apartments unless someone absolutely has no other option or simply needs a temporary place to stay while rebuilding their credit or getting back on their feet. The walls are extremely thin. You can hear everything from your neighbors, including conversations, music, doors, and daily movement. Loud neighbors are a constant issue, and there is little peace or privacy, especially at night or early in the morning. The parking lot is consistently dirty and often filled with trash bags that sit out for days, which makes the community look neglected and poorly maintained. Towing is another major issue.
