Unprofessional. Failed to perform as advertised: Fact: She agreed to fill out some legal forms for a $900 deposit upfront. Fact: I have been waiting more than 3 months and have yet to see a single document produced, or a single written word of any kind other than the receipt for the $900 she made me pay upfront. Fact: After I asked for an invoice Ranjit Marcu of Marcu and Associates has not returned a single phone call or message for over a month. Fact: I am hurt by this loss. I live in a van. I really needed those forms done. I don't appreciate being ghosted after I asked for an invoice. Thank you very much.

I placed myself in Ranjit Marcu's hands and she started digging into to my money. Our first conversation over the phone she had to know, "What do you do for a living?! How do you expect to be able to pay me?!! She then asked me to come into the office where she insisted on cash upfront. I have never seen her again. No work at all has been forthcoming. Not a single scrap of paper except the cash receipt I had to insisted upon. She doesn't respond to any type of correspondence at all. Nothing. I have not been able to contact her for more than 5 weeks. It's been a long time since I have heard from her for just about 3 hours worth of work I was told. Why? Why?

DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON I paid her a ridiculous amount of money to fill out and file some forms for me. This started a pattern of missed appointments, incorrect information, mistakes, lies and a complete lack of ethics and professionalism. Example: - Charged me way more than her initial quote because it was going to “take her so long to fill out the forms” - She told me the process would take a year but it was done in just a month - The paperwork was sent to me in August but was returned to sender because she listed an incorrect address for me. - In October I asked her to follow up and she told me she called and was advised it was still in process. Does not answer the phone. Will not answer my texts or return messages of any kind. No contract was forthcoming as specified by law.
