I am extremely disappointed in BH Management and the way it treats its residents. They claim to be “for the customer,” but my experience has proven otherwise. I have lived in one of their one-bedroom apartments for two years with my child, who has a disability. During that entire time, I was a loyal resident; I never missed a payment, often paid ahead of schedule, and caused no issues. Based on that history, I expected at least a little understanding when my circumstances unexpectedly changed. In February, I signed a lease renewal that was set to begin in April 2026. Just three days later, I found out I was expecting another child. Naturally, this meant I would need more space. I was here late 2019 into early 2020. I really enjoyed my time. I lived alone upstairs, it was my bachelor pad. The community was very very quiet and low key. The place was very clean and organized. I never had any issues with anyone or anything and would easily go back if I had to (or could afford to). My unit was just as clean as the model they showed me. I’m a Richmond native and lived all across the city. I think this place put me at ease the most knowing it’s safe, no bugs, no loud noise, no broken appliances and it was clean. I loved the tech package, being able to control both the thermostat and unlocking the door from my phone, plus my skylight view to see the clouds

We’ve been living here for a little over a month and absolutely love it. Before moving in, we looked at around 10–15 different apartments and are glad we chose Maple Springs – we have no regrets. From the moment we met Rut and saw their cozy office, we immediately felt we were in good hands. We were given a thorough tour, all of our questions were answered, and every time we visit the office, the team is always kind and welcoming. When it comes to maintenance, the service is excellent. We have made a few requests, and each time, our issues were resolved quickly and professionally. I’m really tired of living here already. The apartment I moved into was infested with fleas. I have pictures of both of my legs with MULTIPLE bites and bumps. I was told compensation would be looked into and haven’t gotten an update since. Mind you, I didn’t even bring up compensation (I just wanted to stop getting bit by fleas and seeing roaches, moths, etc in and around my apartment) but this has gotten to the point where a true act of reconciliation needs to be had because how I’m currently living is unacceptable. In the Property Management’s defense, the previous tenant did have an undocumented pet, however it took about 2 weeks from the time I reported the infestation until it was serviced by Maple Spring’s pest control vendor (Orkin).
