Macungie Village Apartments

I've been here since December of 2023 and have waited this long to write a review. I love my apartment. It's cozy, my neighbors aren't too loud, I love that I have my own front door, and the few maintenance requests I have put in have been answered pretty promptly and they're always friendly when they speak to me. The women in the office are always friendly as well. You get your normal outside bugs that make their way in every so often (spiders and flies mostly, occasional stink bug and once a wasp), and last winter I did have a mouse that got in somehow into my bottom cabinet in the kitchen, but I 100% would rather deal with all that than with roaches (which I have thankfully not experienced at all here). We are are living here a year and have had very few issues. Prior to living here we dealt with mold, poor insulation, noisy neighbors and questionable parking. It's very quiet here and our neighbors come and go. Our only issue is stairs but we are dealing with it because we like the privacy and space of a second floor. We never had a washer and dryer in our apartment till now so that is a big blessing and the two bathrooms definitely work for us

I lived here for close to 3 years (2022-2024). Pros: Great location. Safe neighborhood. Cons: Rent is extremely overpriced for what you get. Appliances constantly break. Dog waste on the sidewalks that no one cleans up. Overgrown hedges blocked the path to our entrance. Even after reporting it, it took them a month to trim them. The AC broke in the summer and was out for multiple days, leaving our apartment over 80°F. In the winter, the parking lot wasn’t salted, and my pregnant wife fell walking to her car. Bugs, including hornets, constantly got in year-round. A mouse got in through a hole behind the water heater, which we reported when we moved in. It took 2 weeks for them to fix it while we dealt with the mouse. A snake got inside twice due to the sliding door not being well-sealed.

I have a friend the living in there place and he gave a problem with the watch machine too for month is sad ..I belive is too much rent , some neighbors are noisy...look and try to be in peaple bissness..Do you Imagine!! Other then that is ok .. I hope they fix the watching maching ..

Living here has been the worst experience I have ever had. Upon move in, our hot water heater was broken so we went 4 days without hot water. Our dishwasher was broken for over a month. Our toilet and washer were leaking for over a month. Our dryer burned and ruined all of our clothes without even drying them. Our fridge was leaking. We have never had fleas in our entire lives of owning pets yet somehow our dog has been struggling so bad with fleas here despite us treating the entire interior and exterior of our apartment and paying for vet bill after vet bill trying to get it under control. We have had the same pipe in our bedroom wall burst twice, so it obviously is not getting fixed properly. This gave us a mold issue. Our son's room floods every time it rains. Their solution for water
