I lived here for about a year after moving to the area, and unfortunately my experience wasn’t great. Communication with the landlord was often difficult and came across as rude and demanding. At the end of my lease, I was surprised by several extra charges. There was a $75 “administrative fee” just to release my security deposit, and then additional cleaning charges like about $40 to clean the stove and $20 to clean the toilet. By the time everything was added up, around $200 had been taken out in fees. What was frustrating is that I actually put work into the unit before leaving. I repainted the apartment, fixed cracks in the walls from structural shifting, and redid the shower caulking because the original job fell apart shortly after I moved in. I DO NOT recommend this property. The lack of communication from the property managers is absolutely unacceptable. I even expressed my concerns directly, and all I got in response was a dismissive “okay.” They were nice and helpful in the beginning but once we didn’t resign our lease, they couldn’t care less about anything we said or asked. The so-called “newly renovated apartments” are a cover-up job. There are at least seven layers of paint on the walls—try cleaning or using any adhesive, and it all peels off. The window in the shower is disgusting, and instead of addressing black mold, they simply painted over it. Our bathtub was also painted to hide stains rather than actually cleaned or replaced. We weren’t even told there was an on-site laundromat—until it caught fire about a month

The location of these apartments are amazing, and you definitely are paying for that, but it's worth it! The noise levels can be pretty bad with the fire department across the street and trains running nearby, and the kitchen is a little small, but the rest of the space is great. The laundry is a little spotty, and I'd use a nearby laundromat. I would rent again from here, you simply can't beat the commute times to both downtown and west paducah! Vicky and the rest of staff is wonderful, and they've helped me work through my first rental experience!

Filled out a non-refundable $40 application fee. I received an interview for a tour of the apartments soon after the application. The application was filled out on a Friday 11/08/24 and the interview was on Monday 11/11/24. Employees did not introduce themselves and were smoking cigarettes inside the office. The lady stated she had identified a problem with the application after she had done the tour with us. Also, the application allows you to put more than the 2-pet limit allowed which we wouldn't have known there was a 2-pet limit until told so by an employee there after the application had already been filled out and dogs over 20 lbs. are prohibited, this was our disqualification. When I moved in during the winter, I found my apartment with animal feces on the floor and an unclean bathroom. Also, my bathroom door doesn’t shut? Frustrating, but I was going to clean anyways and I didn’t have much other choice than to document it and let it go. Once summer hit, the roach issue made itself clear. if you walk through these apartments after dark, you WILL find SEVERAL laughably HUGE roaches walking along the sidewalk with you. You will have to fight them from trying to enter your apartment, along with tinier roaches. I keep my apartment clean, and I have killed 3 within 24 hours. Also, if you’ve decided it’s ok the apartment doesn’t have a laundry hookup because there is a laundry room… well, only 2 washers work. If you go in the day, you won’t be able to find an open was
