Customer Reviews
This was a while ago. When I moved out, in writing they agreed to let me move out the 6th of the month but charged me the rent through the 28th. I escalated to multiple layers of management forwarding the written email communication on move-out date and they ignored me, because they already had my money. With the written evidence, I almost sued, but didn’t because the $800 may not have been worth the effort. I also had disputes with their “refundable deposit” which they never dealt with. There were existing damages when I moved in which they covered with a mirror. When I moved out, they charged me for it. They also charged me fees for expired rental insurance, for which I forwarded the new policy, but again they ignored me on the refund although they verbally confirmed they could issue a
UPDATE 11/27/23: The new property manager, Nancy, is amazing!! She called me and talked over some stuff. She was so apologetic of her predecessors behavior and even though none of it was her fault it still felt very good to be heard and have that apology. She definitely seems very promising to turn this place around. Excited to see what she accomplishes in the last month of me living here. and tbh a little sad I'm leaving now. I really enjoyed living here and with the new manager I think its gonna be a great place to live again. 11/24/23: I've lived here for a little over two years now and I'm so glad it's not gonna be a third year. The first two years were really good. Communication from property manager was very prompt, maintenance issues were dealt with fast, and the halls were pretty
Pros: Good area. Pets allowed. On bus line if you need it. High walkability. Unit repair requests are quick. Cons: Building issues don't get fixed for months or years. Such as leaks and dryers. 5 winter's and heat is always turned on mid November. 7 weeks after city ordinance. People wear jackets in units every fall. One winter the heat in the whole building wasn't consistent. Miscommunication between management is frequent. Floors are very thin. The walls are set up to not border much of neighbor so no noise there. No heads up when they remodel the unit above you. All said this is a good spot if you're not looking for anything special at an affordable price. Other than some rare theft crime is low. Most seem to stay a year or two. Neighbors used to all be good. Lately a good increase in
Do not give these people your money. In the year that I've been here it's been nothing but drama and incompetence. The area is beautiful, the other tenants are nice,* and that's where the good ends. I could go on for a long time about the individual problems I've had, but I'll spare you the majority of it. What it boils down to is extremely poor management. Every "upgrade" is a mess--for instance, when they hired someone to redo the concrete stairs. The people who did the job made the concrete too high, so no one could open the door. Or when they said they were doing smoke detector inspections two different times, then they were going to reposition the smoke detectors in all the apartments. No one ever came to my apartment. The pool won't be open for the majority of the summer this year b
I moved in this past July (2018), and have been loving it! Initially I was skeptical, seeing the other comments and ratings, but glad I did not allow that to prevent me from giving LIV a shot. Aside from applying for a newly remodeled unit as advertised online, and not getting one, my experience has been great from the start! I had a drain issue that came about at 10pm on a week night and someone was there within the hour to fix it! I submitted a maintenance request to fix a closet door, and it was fixed within a day! Neighbors that I have met are kind. Although, a lot of dog poop in the grass areas.. a bit disappointing. Other than that, great place to live! Management is also quick to respond; Mandy is great! Safe complex!
