LGI Homes - The Valley

We moved into a brand-new LGI home with the expectation of quality and peace of mind. Unfortunately, within our first month of living here, we began experiencing significant issues, including a leak in the bathroom that was caused by improper installation. This leak eventually led to mold growth, which has already caused health concerns for a family member. I have reached out to LGI multiple times regarding these issues and have not received any follow-up or support. For a newly built home, this level of workmanship and lack of communication is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I’m sharing my experience to hopefully bring awareness to other buyers and to ask whether anyone else has experienced mold or structural issues in their new LGI home. Me and my mom went through this company to purchase our first home. Something that we thought was impossible. This is the best company that we have worked with. The staff is very professional and so helpful and they are with you every step of the way. We started out with Drew but when he went back to Finley Farms we were introduced to Kevin Quicker and he is amazing. He called us and always kept us updated and when we were doubtful he kept us reassured and was always willing to answer all of our questions. On September 16, 2020 we officially closed on our house and we owe this blessing to God and to the people at LGIHomes. You will not be disappointed with them.

Nice-looking homes the new holes today or highly overpriced. You just have to be in the market and have the money. Nice homes.

The assigned HOA is a joke; the builders laid down super cheap sod that turns to dirt months later (look at everyone's yard as you pass by). It requires HEAVY maintenance, and the HOA holds you liable. The garages fall off the tracks more than usual, they placed a speeding limit of 25 in a child neighborhood (so people automatically do 30), the driveway and street are VERY uneven which leaves you damaging your vehicle (and leaves you to be responsible to purchase the bumps), the stop signs are the size of your hand, the streets have major potholes, nails, and unleveled pavement. Oh, and due to the nearby trailer homes, they allow their unleashed dogs to wander the neighborhood attacking people, jumping on cars, and pooping on yards! DON’T MOVE HERE!
