If you are thinking of buying with LGI, do not believe anything they tell you and be careful when to give the deposit to start the process. It has been the most dishonest experience I have ever had. Do not trust this company. Look for more reviews on sites where real people can comment and you will see that they are not trustworthy. Normally you can expect sellers to give you incomplete or misleading information, but literally lying to you is not at all ethical and should not be allowed. First they promised us an interest rate that we liked and that's why we decided to reserve the house and gave the deposit (worst mistake because that's when we lost their attention), they told us several times that they would return our deposit if we didn't like something without problem, at the time of m

Not a good, gentle application experience. I believe the delivery of communication could have been much better and more tactful. I am completely accepting of not fully meeting the requirements of the home buying process however this meeting ruined my whole evening. I am not a defeatist and I don’t have victim mentality. I am resilient and felt better the next day and am looking into apartments now. I am just very open, honest, and communicative and I know what’s best for me. I just wish the consultant was more diplomatic. I acknowledge the professionalism and friendliness, however strip that away and focus on what’s actually being said and it’s more harmful than helpful.

LGI homes are a bunch of scam artists. They will take your money and bend you over. RUN AWAY! Companies like this one will be bankrupt in the coming recession. Don't buy from them unless you have deep pockets and can repair your home when it starts to fail in six months!!!! No Due Diligence allowed, no inspection allowed. They string you along and make you jump through hoops. The buyer has is supposed to have some power, but with LGI Homes, you're the victim. Honest hard working people trying to buy a decent home while their broker Dayne Luck flaunts his Caribbean vacations!
