Lenexa Crossing Apartments

This apartment complex is disgusting and the management is awful! Let's skip past the mold in the furnace room and and birds in the building exhaust vents and focus on how bad it really is. Listening to the office lady tell my girlfriend because she waited to tell them she wasnt renewing for another year she would be charged almost $3000 for "late fees". The lady stated since it wasnt 60 days before the end of the release but its weird since the state standard is different then that. When she asked for a copy of the contract the office lady said she would send it right over but never did.

Decent place to live. It pretty quiet, I've seen some reviews about bugs but haven't personally seen any in the year I lived here so it probably depends on what building you end up in. Only issues I have is that it definitely has a "landlord special" vibe, hastily put together and coated in paint, had a drawer already broken when we moved in, and the washer/dryer single unit does not dry whatsoever, so I've had to hang dry my clothes all year which isn't a big deal but definitely is inconvenient. Kitchen is super cramped. Overall it's fine if you're looking for cheap

absolutely terrible apartment to live in. lived here for three years while in school. charged out the butt for the worst and cheapest things. never updated anything. when i moved out they charged about $800 for damages and didnt follow their handbook. it was def not $800 worth of damage. it was a small stain in the carpet (that they replace regardless) and some pet damage. i do not recommend these apartments unless you don't give a crap how you're treated and the conditions you live in :)

Haven’t had a working laundry machine for 3 months (since we moved in). Management and maintenance promise they’ll get back to me and never do. It took 2 months for any maintenance to even come look at the machine, they said they will order the part and I haven’t heard a word from them since. Every time I call management is very dismissive. We have been more than patient and understanding but at this point, this is unacceptable. When we moved in, the place was barely cleaned and there are always bugs. I would never recommend these apartments to anyone.

They make you put down a deposit before you even know if you're approved or not. It's been three weeks and still waiting on my $250 refund which is much needed money for my next deposit.
