Lantower Round Rock

Update 2/18/25: I had to update my review due to no longer living at Lantower. I stayed at Lantower apts from 1/22/21 until 1/10/25. I had no idea that Gnats would be an additional roommate living there. I would wreck my brain wondering what I was doing to cause the issue. Unbeknownst to me it was the kitchen drain that was the issue. I lived on the first floor. Gnats and sewer flies were constantly an issue. I bought a blue light from Amazon to deal with the bug issue. They helped slightly but to little avail. Bugs are a HUGE problem here. I caught a Brown Recluse in my kitchen as well. Roaches and other insects were there as well. I'm not a messy person by any means. Other residents have complained about this issue as well. Very bad experience overall . 1)Poor maintenance 2)Very old apartment with bad supervision and maintenance 3) Windows / Doors not maintained properly 4) Pet park is not maintained and cleaned at all 5) Not maintained Corridors 6) Electrical equipments are not maintained properly 7) Very high energy bills as the leakage due to lack of overall maintenance 8) Leaking pipes never repaired, raised high levels tickets and not done anything. Below are a few things I truly like about Lantower. *Staff is very friendly - Felix is great! *Maintenance is always fast *Common areas are clean *Fast response to emails *Pool and gym are very nice *Community events My family and I are truly happy living in this community!

I didn't want to give this rating, but first of all, the fact that the office is open for a very limited time and the pool hours are very limited hours are among the reasons why I really give this score. I also find the gym insufficient, frankly. On the other hand, they added a violation fee for something I never expected and I had to write this comment. And they never informed me that this would be reflected as a violation fee. When they warned me, I immediately stopped doing the violation they said, but they gave me a violation penalty. If I didn't have money in my account, I wouldn't be able to pay my rent. The Lantower apartments in Round Rock has been the WORST experience for me and my family. The entire time we lived at these apartments we had to live in an apartment filled with gnats throughout the entire apartment. The ceiling had some mold issues as well as underneath sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms. Our garage was filthy from the time we moved in. The neighbors next to us are so filthy and the office management team didn’t do anything about it. I will not recommend living here. Lantower says they upgraded their apartments that’s a lie. Please don’t waste your time or money here. I even have picture of the gnats in our fridge and all the traps we had to buy on a weekly basis.
