Lafayette Station

i have lived in many different apartments over the years, and this is one of the best. the maintenance team is great here. they’re very nice, helpful, and their response time is pretty fast, which, in my past experiences, can be rare. the office staff is also very nice, and pleasant to work with. finally, parking—the parking situation is great here. there is plenty of parking for both residents, and visiting guests, which isn’t always the case at a lot apartment complexes i’ve lived at or visited.

A great place to live! Nice grounds, friendly, knowledgeable, and responsible office staff, and competent grounds maintenance team. Recent transition glitches that I mentioned in a past posting are now being addressed. Currently, things demonstrate a significant improvement. The apartment maintenance team is prompt, professional, and gets things repaired right the first time. Marcelo and Nate make a great team. I really like how well they took care of me, and they were professional and patient with my maintenance requests.

I had a nice tour this weekend with the new Assistant Property Manager, Desiree. New management GL Partners took over from Griffis in May, but I learned that the Property Manager switched companies and stayed in the role. The apartments are pretty basic. Some are updated and some are not. All layouts have the laundry machines in the back of the kitchen, which I personally feel is the most inconvenient place they could be. The gym is very public, right off the community lounge and adjacent to the leasing office.

The staff at the apartment complex after letting go of a previous employee and hiring a new assistant manager has been absolutely flawless, super quick to inform you of anything, easy to reach and work with and incredibly helpful. However the maintenance staff here on site, ESPECIALLY Nate, are 10/10 amazing. Super friendly and knowledgeable, incredibly quick with a fantastic ticket turn around. We had our heater go out and nate showed up at 6pm, 20 minutes after we submitted the ticket. He walked me through what he was doing and when he realized that the issue was a part being broken and needing a replacement. He gave us a space heater, apologized and gave us a easy timeline on the replacement part (which showed up the next morning and was quickly installed)

Nate the maintenance manager runs a tight operation. Every request is handled timely and with confidence. We ran into some issues recently with our thermostat and converting to new technology and Nate set it up and made sure we knew how to keep our home warm and comfortable.
