Kula Kai Apartments

I would strongly advise anyone considering Kula Kai Apartments to look elsewhere. Our experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. When we faced a sudden family emergency, the management (Josephine) offered absolutely no support. I had to manage the move-out process alone, staying separated from my family for three months. Adding insult to injury, I was forced to find a new tenant myself, yet they still charged me $1300 in fees, with no explanation for these outrageous costs. After paying $500 out of pocket to professionally clean the apartment, Kula Kai added another $400 to the bill despite the receipt I provided. Living at Kula Kai has been one of the most difficult experiences for my family. When a family emergency forced me to move back to India with our young child, I hoped the management would offer understanding, especially since my husband had to stay behind. Instead, we received no support, making a challenging time even harder. It was heartbreaking to leave my husband behind, managing everything alone, while I tried to settle back in India with our child. The lack of compassion from Kula Kai made a tough situation nearly unbearable. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a supportive and understanding community. If you value kindness and empathy, look elsewhere.

I lived here for 2 years before moving to my current place. The location is great!!! Josephine did an exceptional job answering questions and showing different units to find the best fit. Complex is closing and I had no pain that different people can come inside. And maintenance here is fabulous, Sergio is a gem doing an amazing job.

I have lived in Kula Kai apartment over five and half years and it always felt like home. It is very secured and walkable to school, grocery, restaurants and some beautiful parks. The apartment manager Josephine is very friendly and takes care of any issues very promptly. She always makes sure that the community is safe, secure & clean.

I have lived in a number of apartments in Foster City and this is by far the worst. These are very basic apartments that could have been better if the staff were better. Josephine, the resident manager is very rude and does a poor job of making sure everything is in order. Maintenance work takes a lot of time. I have never seen anyone using the swimming pool since it is dirty and terrible. It is a pain to get maintenance when something isn't working or broken in our apartments. Not recommended for living at such a high cost in Foster City.
