Kelson Row Apartments at Rocky Hill

I've been in this complex for close to six months and I couldn't be any more thrilled to be here. My cousin (realtor) highly recommended Kelson Row, and he was spot on! All the Propery Managers (Kaila, Merideth, Gabby, and Sylvia) were most welcoming and unbelievably patient with my transition and acclimation to Rocky Hill. Their assistance eased the angst and stress of moving and continue to be of assistance with every question or concern I may have. They're awesome and wonderful people, we're all so fortunate to have them here. The maintenance crew here is second to none. Rich and Jacob work tirelessly to address all of our requests and concerns which are seemingly minor for the most part. I moved into Kelson Row a few weeks ago, and I genuinely could not be happier with my decision to call it home. From the moment I toured the community, I knew it would be the perfect fit for me, my 14-month-old, and our dog. Silvia was incredibly welcoming and patient, answering every question I had and making the entire process seamless from start to finish. The apartments themselves are absolutely beautiful, and the amenities are truly next level—this is luxury living at its finest. Everything is so convenient, from the location to the nearby restaurants and the many wonderful places to take my toddler. It truly has everything I could ask for. Nice, spacious, apartments in a good location, but we'll be moving out at the end of our lease because of noise. 1. When the gas powered heater kicks on it sounds like a car is on the other side of the wall revving its engine. Bonus noise when the upstairs neighbor's heater kicks on. 2. I can hear everything my upstairs neighbor does. Loud music, screaming at what I assume is Call of Duty, etc. It wasn't this bad at my previous apartment. 3. Worst of all, the building's staircase is on the other side of the wall of the master bedroom. I'm often woken up at night or early in the morning by people stomping up and down the stairs. The living experience at Kelson Row is the best in all of the surrounding towns, and this is significantly due to maintenance supervisor Richard. The quality of Richard’s professionalism, expertise, attention to detail, responsiveness and dedication to his work is the best I have come across in any maintenance supervisor. Nowadays sadly, many other apartment buildings are making inexperienced younger people their maintenance supervisors, who because of their lack of experience, in the long run end up costing the landlord more in maintenance bills, and who are also not the most convenient for the tenants. My husband and I have lived here for about six months, and we’ve really loved it so far! We’ve had a few small maintenance issues come up, but every time we’ve submitted a service request, Rich and Jacob have been quick, respectful, and friendly when getting things taken care of. The girls in the leasing office are always so kind and helpful — they truly make the community feel welcoming. We also love that the complex hosts fun, interactive events for the residents — it makes living here feel so much more personal and connected. Overall, it’s been a great experience living here and I would recommend to anyone considering Kelson Row as their home!
