I’ve never had an insurance experience this frustrating. I canceled my auto policy mid January and expected a straightforward refund. Instead, State Farm applied most of it to my renters policy without my consent, and only issued a small check for the remainder. To make matters worse, I was involved in a hit-and-run on 1/1 and have never spoken to my assigned agent, Jessica. Despite multiple attempts to reach her, she has been completely unreachable. I’ve had no one to advocate on my behalf through the accident process besides myself, which defeats the entire purpose of having an agent in the first place.
