Customer Reviews
Management is now offsite and Willie the manager, is terrible anyway. I read the reviews, I specifically went over them with him, and he promised as best he could that the problems would be addressed and they weren’t. Fire alarms going off all the time, people smoking in the common areas, and especially important for me - elevator breaking down, as well as people parking in my parking space! Management is of little to no help in any of these cases (Cy would do what he could but he’s not the boss and is only one person handling 100’s of residents). Maintenance sucks - consistently put in maintenance requests that were marked as completed with nobody even showing up! When they did they’d often say they needed a part or something and would never return! And a nickel and dime you to death and
This place is amazing. The management and maintenance team go out of their way to help. For example, when we first moved in, I was assigned a parking spot on a different floor than our apartment. As soon as one opened up on the same floor, management reached out to ask if I’d like to switch. That kind of proactiveness really shows the quality of this place. The people here are also very kind. We’ve made many friends—neighbors who have helped us with car repairs, become running buddies, or simply offered a smile and a hello in the halls. The location is hard to beat, the halls are always clean, and the amenities are excellent. The only notable downside is that the fire alarms go off about twice per month at random hours. It hasn’t been a major issue for me, but light sleepers may want t
PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE. If I can give zero stars I would. They will charge you extra days of “unpaid rent” that you paid. Charge $360 of paint. $160 clean up fee, even if you leave it clean, don’t even leave dust because you will be charged. I was charged $830 at move out. You pay over $3,500 for rent and they wont change out the filter in your fridge, thats $50 coming out of your pocket. Smoke alarms go off at least 1-2 times a week at like 1am. Homeless issues. Attached are photos of how I left the apartment. Dont even leave a spec of dust or they will charge you.
There is absolutely no security patrol. There are erratic “residents” and non residents that get inside the complex and are literally terrorizing the tenants. We are afraid to use amenities and even walk our dogs through the parking garage because we have no way of knowing who is sleeping on the floor or taking baths and washing clothes in our jacuzzi. Many residents have asked for 24/7 security patrol and we get crickets. The tenants are afraid we will be the next “pearl apartment” or even worse before we actually get the protection we deserve. Edit to respond: What deterrents do you provide? It honestly isn’t hard to have a security guard on the premise considering we do not have an onsite team that you so love to tell people to go to.
If I could get one year of my life back, I would literally live in a box rather than in this building. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT live here. Here are five reasons why: 1. The walls are thin, this building is old and you can hear your upstairs neighbors running around thumping on the ground which will cause you nightmares 2. The smoke alarms go off literally every other day disrupting your sleep, your work, your everyday life and your sanity as someone allegedly goes and smokes in the trash rooms causing it. One time they used the grills as an excuse. You have grills outside - how frail are your smoke alarms? 3. The building does not have management. You have to beg and plead for someone to answer and they treat you like total crap. I asked for a tandem spot on day one and until moving
