Worst rental company in idaho falls and id even say the whole of idaho as well. Management refuses to ever answer maintenance requests and refuses to communicate unless you have bothered them enough for them to say we will look into it and then do nothing. They raise rent without notice (which is against the law by the way) and when we asked about it they lied. Would not recommend you ever buy or rent from this company as they have a complete disregard for respect and honesty.

Be aware that we recently got scammed thousands of dollars and they did not care to helps us we're now struggling to figure out what to do by the end of the month before we up homeless DO NOT trust this company. They're careless about their information as well as yours. Please be careful out there and learn from our mistakes or end up with a "I'm sorry but you been scammed"

I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience with HomeRiver Group needs to be shared so other renters know what to expect. I was first wrongfully denied because their screening system claimed I had “rent debt.” This was false. After I challenged it and provided proof, they admitted it was a mistake and reversed the denial, which shows a serious problem with how they use or interpret credit report data. They also advertised a $0 move-in deposit option through Termwise, and it was clearly shown in my approval packet. However, when I tried to use it, I was told that Termwise “is not accepted at this property,” even though it was part of the official approval documentation. This is the absolute worst place to rent through. We moved in with a crack above our toilet from our neighbors above us and then it started leaking and it has yet to be fixed and it’s been two months into waiting. They’re not letting us renew our lease for no reason at all just because they merged with a different company. You can never get in contact with your property manager because you have to deal with calling Home River first and YOUR LUCKY if she answers after that. They have all kinds of fees and some make no sense at all. When you renew your lease, you still have to pay the fees even though It says nothing about it in your lease agreement. Terrible company to rent through.

We rented from Home River for 2.5 years and had nothing but issues with our property manager. I would never recommend anyone to rent through them until figuring out your Propert manager. She consistently ignored us, would only answer when we changed our numbers due to changing phone plans and then when she realized who we were she stopped answering again. Specifically if her name is Tiffany I would pass on the property. Our rent and fees were always paid on time or before it was due. Everything was already broken when we moved in but we were desperate and we put our own money and work into the apartment. Not to mention it was HORRIBLY cleaned. Again we were desperate. Never again.
