After meeting with other builders we chose Cooper Creek because it seemed like they had more of the "we care about your house as much as you do" feeling than other builders. Throughout the process there were times we still felt that and other times not so much. At the beginning I had some concerns with the concrete and backfill but Derek and Rick addressed them and made me feel better about them. All their subcontractors we met with seemed to be really good. Everything looks good and works good so far. They use KVO and they were so awesome to work with and their stuff looks so good, I would recommend them to anyone. I would not recommend building with Copper Creek. Communication during construction was poor, and they often tried to brush off legitimate concerns (for example, unfinished cabinet wood was passed off as “normal”). Their cabinet contractor, KVO, does especially poor work—sharp edges, sloppy nail patching, and generally low quality craftsmanship. The appliances they install are very cheap, and when warranty issues inevitably arise, don’t expect prompt service. I experienced a major leak and it took a whole year, and multiple legal threats, before they finally fixed it. Even then, they no-showed 6–7 scheduled repair appointments along the way. Optimistic view: They do not clearly communicate how things should move forward, what their expectations are, or what they think an offer should look like. Pessimistic view: They will string you along with promises, take their time putting things together, and then use you to drive up the price for another family on a lot they said had been saved for you. We purchased a spec home from Copper Creek that was built last October. It is well built, and we are happy with our purchase. No major issues so far. Annie is great and has helped us resolve little things here and there very quickly!

Outstanding builder! The cost to quality of home we received far exceeded our expectations. The house is gorgeous inside and out. The Copper Creek team was amazing to work with, they handled working with my barrage of consitent and demanding questions greatly. Annie made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Brandon insured after the house was built that it still maintained its high quality, and Derek oversaw to insure that I got a great house in the short military time frame I had.
