Hilliard Square Townhomes

My biggest complaint with living here is the lack of independence you are allowed. I don’t see an issue with limiting what’s out in yards to an extent but be prepared to be told what types of flowers you cannot have as well as only being allowed to have 2 lawn ornaments. Also be prepared to not be allowed to have plants in your windows or curtains that you want you are allowed tan or white. For me it crosses a line when you tell me I can’t decorate the inside of my house how I please. I love the older style of the apartmentments and I love the quiet tucked back community but it really sucks to work your way from a poor childhood and earn your place in a nicer area just to be told you can’t hang the curtains you want or have plants in your window window sills simply bc all you can afford is

Lived here for 2 years. Electric never worked in half the house for over 1 year. Appliances are old and broke and they took forever to get them fixed or replaced. Went to move out and they decided to "update" and charge us for the updates after we moved out. Tryed to get it resolved though their parent company but they ignored us and sent the bill to a third party. Do NOT rent from this terrible and fraudulent housing company.

When I first started living in the community almost 5yrs ago it was run by an elderly woman who kept to herself. And if you asked for any type of help she would talk to you like a child. She was sorta scary in a way. She soon retired and a new lady came into management. She is the sweetest person iv ever met. She's not stuck up or rude. She's a hard worker and that's what I appreciate most. When you call her with a problem she responds as soon as possible. Communication is a big deal for me. And this only happened once thank goodness, but I had to let her know that my rent was going to be a day late and she actually worked with me to come up with a solution for the problem. Which I've never met a landlord to do such a thing. She cares about her residents living in the community and it show

My father lives here and really likes it. There was a wait list to get into an apartment, but for the price its a steal. One bedroom apartment is perfect for a single person or even a couple and it comes with a garage! The maintenance is average, ususlly takes more time than it really should tonget things fixed.

Now that I've lived in this townhome complex for over three months, I feel I can give an informed review of the property. The short version is that I am very happy here! The two-story, one-bedroom townhome perfectly fits my needs as a single-occupant attending grad school at OSU. Having a full-sized washer and dryer, dishwasher, heating and air conditioning, and a spacious detached garage for around $700 per month still feels like an incredible bargain to me, particularly when considering how pleasant the area is, and how conveniently located the complex itself is (backing on to a sizeable strip mall featuring a Kroger, and across the street from a post office).
