I do not recommend Hillcrest Management as a property management company. Over several years of living in a community managed by Linda S. and Hillcrest, I’ve experienced repeated issues that were not addressed in a timely or professional manner. One significant concern involved a maintenance employee, Norm, who was regularly present on the property far outside normal working hours. It was clear something was not right, yet the situation went unnoticed and unaddressed by management for an extended period. This raised understandable concerns for residents about oversight and safety. Their rating would be much better if they communicated better. They have no problems communicating when there office is closed. But when there is a problem communication is nil. Today a contractor shut the water off. It had been off almost five hours. No one seems to know when the water will be turned on.

Hillcrest is not a good management company. I put in a work order last June for burned out lights around the neighborhood and it is almost January and they have done nothing. I was told to remove patio items because they were powerwashing outside decks, never happened. I work days and my husband works nights , we know it didn't happen. They raise the rates yearly , yet the buildings and neighborhood don't look great. Its a shame when you make an investment and the property management company works against you. I have loved living here until Hillcrest took over. I have never been able to contact anyone there who is willing to help. Im sure I'll get the basic we are sorry you feel that way, blah, blah. Hillcrest Property Managers are unresponsive and lazy. -They make full payments to the contractors before the work is completed, and then do not require the completion of the work. -They forget scheduling routine maintenance, and when they do remember to schedule it, they forget to notify the residents. -If you experience an issue, it is impossible to get a hold of the property manager. Your calls are just redirected to a call center offshore, which can't do anything about your issue.
