Highland Homes Star Trail

A builder who sacrifices quality for speed. Bought a home from them in Star Trail and it was riddled with problems. Rafters built with scrap wood, yard filled with Modelo cans and covered with grass (which has now died) and the builder punched holes all around the house to trace an electrical issue right before closing….the inspector tripped the breaker for the inspection…there was no issue. The actual full list of issues is a 13-page presentation.

Highland Homes offers a gorgeous home with a ton of bonus features. Amazing value for Prosper! The wooden beams in the wntryway are GORGEOUS. Give me a call to find out what they can offer you.

Worst customer service/warranty department. Poor quality and lack of responsiveness. The home is less than three years old and we just spent close to $1000 having a plumbing company come and repair an underground main water leak where they had connected the incorrect part to the main water line to install the irrigation system. We have owned multiple homes, and never had this issue in any of them. We have multiple plumbers check the part used and they have all concurred that it was an incorrect and defective device used. They tout about a 10 year warranty for structural issues, and we believe this IS a structural defect. They don't even have the common courtesy to come over and check our claim. They have totally ignored our problem. Next stop, BBB complaint.
