Beyond obnoxious towing (battlefield towing) and fees to get my vehicle back, with no help on access to a visitor parking pass. Towed twice, each time parked in a different visitor spot for less than 10 hours. No warning note, no signs that say you can’t park for over 48 hours or no overnight parking. They come in the middle of the night while you’re sleeping and just take your vehicle. $350 out of my pocket during covid-19 pandemic, thanks! 🖕🏼

I was deployed in the Middle East and had my deployment extended. During this time my Virginia car registration expired. When I returned home I discovered that my vehicle was missing. I called the police to see if they had any record of the car being towed away. I was informed that the Heritage Forest HOA had my car towed by Battlefield towing. Neither the HOA or the towing company bothered to inform me. I guess it was too much trouble to send a text, make a phone call, send an email, or send a letter to me or to my landlord. But then why would they inform me since they were charging me $50 a day for each day the car was in their possession without my knowledge. I had to pay $1,185 to get my car back! Not a kid friendly place. Playgrounds have been negleted and seems like a safety hazard. Mulch looks like it hasnt been maintained. Playgrounds full of graffiti.
