We switched to Headley Realty for our property management one year ago. Our previous property management company was just OK and we were looking for something different/better. One year into the switch and I have to say that so far, it has been the best decision for our real estate investment journey. Our property manager is Justin and what we've seen so far: timely, efficient communication with us and our tenants. Justin also thinks ahead in terms of when is the best time for moves/ re-posting a rental in search of new tenants. Companies/ handyman services that are hired out for repairs do a great job/have high standards for work that they do. All repair requests are run by us as owners - we have a say in what equipment goes in if replacements are necessary, as we place a lot of value in

My girlfriend and I leased a home through Headley Realty (now Revel Realty) in August 2022. Unfortunately our experience was not satisfactory. Upon taking possession of the home, we encountered several issues indicating that the home had not been adequately prepared: The floors, particularly under appliances, were not cleaned. A noticeable layer of dust covered the floors. Kitchen cabinets still contained items from the previous tenants. Dead pill bugs and crickets were found throughout the main floor and basement. The trash bins had not been emptied or cleaned. The fireplace still contained ash from prior use. We were required to perform extensive cleaning ourselves to bring the home to a livable standard. Had an appointment to be shown a property since Monday 5/12/25. The appointment was for Friday 5/16/25 at 1:30pm. Drove all the way and showed up early, someone from inside the house called “LeMarcus”, the person with Headley Realty whom shortly after, called me and said they were “having issues with their dog” and wouldn’t beable to show the house today. Upon calling and speaking with the manager at Headley I come to find out the house was rented out last evening. At no point since Monday before my appointment to see the property was I notified of any of this and being lied too about some “issue” on top of it all after taking time off work and driving over 180 miles round trip. Would not do business with these liars.

If you rent from them, don't expect your deposit back. Caveat: We moved in sight unseen because we were in a time crunch to move for a new job. The house we moved into was a disaster. Pee on the toilets, all carpet smelt like urine, no downspouts on the back of the house, yard was all weeds and dead grass. I spent over 4 hours cleaning the house when moving in to make it acceptable enough to move my children in. We also used our own carpet cleaner to make the carpets somewhat livable. We requested repairs on the toilet, ceiling fan and water softener. After the repair man was there until 11:30 pm on a week night, the only thing he fixed was the toilet. Chuck Headley has been managing our property since late 2010. We’ve never had a period where we haven’t had a tenant.
