Haines A Maxwell Company

We contracted Haines Maxwell Company to custom build our house. We'd always heard stories about nightmares about building a house and were dreading the process. Working with Haines and Scott was the total opposite. We actually even enjoyed the experience. They were there to answer any question we had, and we had a lot of them. They handled every thing in a most professional and honest manner. Their workmanship was excellent. You will not find a better company to work with to build your home. I would highly recommend them without any reservation.

Building a house is not something most people do often. Consequently, finding a builder you can work with can be difficult. We contacted several builders about building our home. The reason we contacted Haines Maxwell Co. was because of a comment made by an HVAC service person that was doing work at our previous home. When asked about builders in the area the technician used the words "honesty and integrity" when describing Scott Maxwell. When we first met with Scott I told him that most important to me was quality construction and a fair price. We feel we got that. During construction we visited the site frequently, sometimes more than once a day. Scott encouraged our involvement and readily answered questions and addressed concerns. I recently worked with Scott to build a new home. This was my first time building instead of buying. It was a great experience as he was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I was very happy with the quality of the house. I would highly recommend.

I bought one of the homes back in 2010, which is still featured on the companies website. It was not a good home buying experience. I do not recommend doing business with this home builder.
