Grand at Florence

I've lived at the Grand at Florence for 4 years. I don't know why there are such bad reviews. As far as apartment life goes, this is a very reasonable place to live. Sure, there are minor inconveniences here and there and small improvements that could be made, but that is true anywhere you live. Anyone can grab a photo of the one time the trash compactor was broken and trash piled up. Machinery breaks down now and then, but that was resolved. Could the plowing be better? Sure. But it's adaquate. This is KY. If you can't handle a little bit of snow, this is not the state for you. My apartment itself is nice and the few maintenance requests we've had have been resolved very quickly. Tonya has been so helpful with several things and David in maintenance is a pleasure. My biggest complaint is

0 stars if I could. I moved into the Quarry Apartments (which has since been sold to a different investment group) and it has been a horrible experience. They falsely represented the condition of the unit and features that were listed. I was moved into a unit that was never properly cleaned with broken appliances and promised replacements when we signed our lease and that never happened. There were multiple times I had to take days off of work after being promised that vendors were coming out to replace our damaged flooring and countertops only for no one to ever show up. While living there the office had gone through 3 different property managers, Cody, Erica, and Edward as well as high turnover with leasing agents and maintenance staff. We had them enter our unit on multiple occasions to

Maintenance has been super helpful! Very quick to respond to the issue and get it fixed. All requests are answered and completed within the next 24 hours (business day) of being submitted. They even leave a notice on the door if you are not home with what they did while in your home.

The move in process was just okay. I gave 3 stars because I’m disappointed that an apartment at this price point would have doors off track, holes in the balcony screen and marks on walls and baseboards.

So horribly mismanaged it’s unbelievable. I love my apartment, but I cannot wait to move. Day four of not being able to leave because they still haven’t plowed the community. They literally have a snow plow truck and won’t plow the community. Couldn’t have my family over for Christmas or leave. Photo is Sunday 12/25 at 5 PM. If you have a snow truck and choose not to plow the community, that is 100% showing you couldn’t care less about the livelihood of the people who Live here.
