Our family is so very thankful to Gateway and staff. They treated my daughter like family. Instilled independence and also much needed support. Mental health is very hard but they made it just a little bit easier. Much of the staff that is here spend more time with these residents than they do their own families. They are extremely dedicated and love them beyond judgment. Being an adult with some of these problems can be extremely debilitating, but they give them the opportunity to still be independent and supported. I cannot say enough about the staffs commitment to our daughter and the way they treated her like their own family. Thank you so much for giving her some independence and the support she needed. This agency is not only corrupt, in that it takes the patient's money without proper treatment, its employes are uncaring, unprofessional and incompetent. They do not abide by any Code of Ethics. The patient rooms are dirty. A loved one went there and was housed with a roommate who continually played and sang loud music throughout the night, leaving the door unlocked. A male campus resident came in unannounced scaring & frightening my relative. She was moved to another room where the patient had a dog and was allowed to maintain an unsanitary room. My relative was there for 10 weeks without a comprehensive evaluation, assigned skill-builder or therapist. Such medical neglect and fiscal corruption abounds at that place, violating human rights. Staff is friendly. Had thanksgiving dinner with family and friends of residents.. felt really welcomed

Shifted away somewhat from helping people with mental illness to seeing how many individuals can be "pushed" through even with a upgraded change in diagnosis from primary mental health provider.

It's no Sonichu Temple but its pretty nice.
